Florentino Pérez has not even submitted an offer yet, but Bayern Munich has already delivered its response. As the Real Madrid president reportedly prepares a massive bid for Michael Olise, the Bavarian club’s leaders have sent a crystal-clear message.
Freshly re-elected, Pérez is eager to land a new superstar. That player could be Michael Olise. According to several Spanish media outlets, the Real Madrid president is considering an offer of at least €150 million as early as Tuesday in an attempt to lure the French international away from Bayern. Such a signing would represent a major statement following his re-election as club president.
Bayern Stand Firm on Michael Olise
In Germany, however, the door appears firmly shut. Speaking at a supporters’ gathering, Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer was unequivocal: “Olise is not for sale. Bayern Munich is not a selling club.”
Having joined from Crystal Palace two years ago, the French winger has become one of the most influential players in Bayern’s squad. Despite Real Madrid’s interest, the German giants have no intention of negotiating his departure.
The question now is whether that stance would survive a record-breaking offer. In Madrid, Florentino Pérez seems determined to test Bayern’s resolve for a player who has emerged as one of the brightest stars in European football.
