Before kickoff, social media had been flooded with a bizarre prediction from a famous Brazilian psychic, who claimed she had dreamed of an alien invasion interrupting the match, with stars like Neymar and Vinicius allegedly abducted by a spaceship.

The story quickly went viral, but no UFOs appeared over Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. Instead, the only visitors who stole the show were the Brazilians on the pitch, as Brazil finished top of their group with renewed confidence heading into the knockout stage.
