Paris Saint-Germain has set its sights on Ibrahima Konaté for the summer transfer window, with the Liverpool defender reportedly open to a return to his hometown, according to Julien Laurens (ESPN).
PSG views Konaté as an ideal long-term partner for Marquinhos, but Liverpool, where he remains under contract until 2026, is determined to keep him. The Reds are growing concerned as he has yet to sign an extension.
In a recent press conference, Konaté remained non-committal: “I’m focused on the present; we’ll see later.”
However, he is expected to address the PSG speculation on Telefoot this Sunday, with a major decision possibly on the horizon.
