Manchester United could make a surprise move before the transfer window closes. Frustrated by André Onana’s performances, the club is reportedly considering bringing back David de Gea, according to The Sun.
Now 34, the Spaniard has rebuilt his career at Fiorentina, making 35 Serie A appearances last season. The Viola were so satisfied that they extended his deal in May until 2028.
However, his contract is said to include an affordable release clause — a potential opening for United. De Gea remains a fan favourite at Old Trafford, and a comeback cannot be ruled out.
