PSG is ready to dive into a new major battle. According to TBR Football, Paris is among the most active clubs in the pursuit of Adam Wharton, the English gem from Crystal Palace. At just 21 years old, the midfielder is causing a stir across Europe: and his club has already set the price: no less than 100 million euros.
Considered a “generational talent” by his management, Wharton is compared to Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo, both of whom were transferred for over 100 million last year. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also in the mix, but PSG could be the most daring.
Will PSG crack?
Crystal Palace wants to extend their jewel’s contract until 2027, but PSG is closely monitoring the situation. Luis Enrique, impressed by his game intelligence and ability to do it all in midfield, has reportedly made him a long-term priority.
“We haven’t set an official price yet, but he’s already worth as much as the best in the world at his age,” a London executive hints.
A clear message: to secure Wharton, one will need to open the checkbook. And Paris, more ambitious than ever, could be the one to take the plunge.
An eye on Tylel Tati, the future French rock
PSG isn’t stopping there. According to Sport, the club is also keeping an eye on Tylel Tati, 17, who has just turned professional at FC Nantes. The central defender is already being followed by Barça, and his profile appeals to Luis Enrique, who wants to prepare for the future behind Marquinhos, Pacho, and Hernandez.
His father revealed in Le Parisien: “Paris has been following him since U11, he even played in a tournament in Barcelona with them.”
PSG could move as early as this winter, especially if Lucas Beraldo leaves the club. One thing is certain: Paris is moving full speed ahead with its new generation.
