Luka Modrić is closing in on a move to AC Milan, with the Croatian legend preparing for what could be the final chapter of his illustrious European career.

At 39, Modrić is out of contract with Real Madrid and was reportedly pushed out of the club’s plans by new manager Xabi Alonso. Determined to stay at the highest level ahead of the 2026 World Cup, the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner has now found a new home in Serie A.
