Arsenal are pushing hard to land a top striker this summer — and Benjamin Šeško is now their No. 1 target. According to Bild, the RB Leipzig forward has already reached a personal agreement with the Gunners. But Leipzig won’t let him go easily.
Mikel Arteta sees Šeško as the missing piece up front, with the club shifting focus away from Viktor Gyökeres and Dušan Vlahović. The 21-year-old Slovenian striker fits the long-term vision and is eager to test himself in the Premier League.
Leipzig want €80–100M (£68–85m), Arsenal offer less
Leipzig, however, are demanding between €80 million and €100 million (approximately £68 million to £85 million) for their star — and there’s no release clause to force a move. Arsenal’s opening offer sits around €65–70 million (roughly £55–60 million), which may rise with bonuses and performance clauses.
Šeško is under contract until 2029, and Leipzig would prefer to keep him one more season. But with the player keen on a move and a mega offer on the table, a breakthrough seems possible.
This one could heat up quickly.
