Inter Milan have opened talks with Christopher Nkunku, and the idea of pairing the Chelsea forward with Marcus Thuram is gaining traction.
After a difficult season at Stamford Bridge—just 900 Premier League minutes under new manager Enzo Maresca—Nkunku is actively seeking a fresh start. With key international tournaments on the horizon, the Frenchman is eager to relaunch his career at the top level.
According to L’Équipe, Nkunku’s representatives are in contact with Inter Milan to explore the conditions of a potential transfer. Although the player is under contract until 2029 and Chelsea aren’t forcing an exit, Nkunku is unwilling to settle for a secondary role.
Bayern Munich remain on alert, while Liverpool are prioritizing Alexander Isak. A few mid-table Premier League clubs have shown interest, but Nkunku wants a high-level project—and a move to Inter could offer exactly that.
