Cristiano Ronaldo is open to extending his stay at Al-Nassr until 2027—but only under strict conditions. According to Saudi outlet Okaz Sports, the Portuguese superstar is demanding a major overhaul within the club’s structure.
At the top of his list: the appointment of a high-profile manager and an experienced sporting director to lead a more ambitious, well-structured project. Simultaneously, Ronaldo has called for the departure of several current figures, including coach Stefano Pioli, sporting director Fernando Hierro, and players such as Aymeric Laporte, goalkeeper Bento, and wingers Wesley and Ângelo.
He’s also pushing for a trimmed-down squad, especially among domestic players, to raise the team’s competitiveness.
A Core of Untouchables
On the flip side, Ronaldo has reportedly labelled Sadio Mané, Otávio, Marcelo Brozović, Mohamed Simakan, and John Durán as non-transferable. He sees them as the backbone of a new-look Al-Nassr.
In short, CR7 wants to stay—but only if the club fully commits to a bold, elite-level rebuild on and off the pitch.
