Daniel Levy has officially stepped down as executive chairman of Tottenham Hotspur after nearly 25 years at the helm. Since joining the club in 2001, Levy has been a pivotal figure in transforming Tottenham into a formidable force in football. Under his leadership, the club has seen the construction of a new stadium, the establishment of a state-of-the-art training center, and consistent participation in European competitions, culminating in a Europa League victory last May.

To facilitate this transition, Vinai Venkatesham has been appointed as the new managing director, while Thomas Frank will take charge of the men’s team. Martin Ho will oversee the women’s section, ensuring a comprehensive leadership structure. Additionally, Peter Charrington has joined the board of directors, stepping into the role of non-executive chairman, aiming to bring fresh perspectives to the club’s operations.

In a statement, the 63-year-old Levy reflected on his tenure, expressing gratitude to the supporters for their loyalty. “We have built a club that has become a global heavyweight, but also a community,” he stated, hinting at the enduring legacy he leaves behind. This leadership change signals a new chapter for Tottenham, focusing on stability and long-term success.
