Manchester United has reached a preliminary agreement with Michael Carrick and his staff to take charge of the team until the end of the season.
So it will be… Michael Carrick. A few days after the dismissal of Ruben Amorim, and after consulting several potential interim coaches, Manchester United has made its choice.
According to journalist David Ornstein, all parties have come to an agreement and an official announcement is expected very soon.
An old face on the MU bench
If everything goes as planned, Carrick’s first match in charge of the Red Devils would be the derby against Manchester City on Saturday at Old Trafford.
A huge baptism of fire for the club’s former iconic midfielder.
