Kevin Trapp has left Eintracht Frankfurt to join Paris FC. After finalizing the last details and passing his medical on Tuesday evening, the 35-year-old German goalkeeper signed a contract until 2028 with an option included. Transfer fee: just €1m.

But the real jackpot comes with his salary. In Paris, Trapp will earn €3.5m per year, with bonuses pushing the total up to €5m.

This is Trapp’s second move to France, having previously joined PSG in 2015 before returning to Frankfurt in 2018. For Trapp, it’s a new chapter in Paris — one that also extends beyond the pitch. He is set to become an ambassador for luxury giant Louis Vuitton, owned by LVMH, which also holds a stake in Paris FC.
