Joshua Kimmich has put an end to speculation by extending his contract with Bayern Munich. The deal is set to be signed this weekend.
The PSG pursuit is officially over. The 30-year-old German midfielder, who has played 39 matches and scored one goal this season, was heavily linked with a move to Paris. The French club had even submitted a written four-year contract offer, but Kimmich has chosen to stay in Bavaria.
A Transfer Saga Comes to an End
According to Bild, Kimmich will officially sign his new contract before Bayern’s Bundesliga clash against Union Berlin on Saturday.
This decision marks the conclusion of a long-running saga, with Bayern initially withdrawing their last offer before re-engaging in negotiations through sporting director Max Eberl.
