Newcastle have been warned: Gonçalo Ramos is staying put and won’t be Alexander Isak’s replacement at Liverpool.
Signed from Benfica in 2023, the Portuguese striker has endured illness, injuries and a tricky adaptation in Paris. But at 24, he’s determined to succeed at PSG rather than seek a fresh start in England.
According to Times Sport, Newcastle’s interest is likely to hit a double wall: the player’s will to remain and Paris’s valuation. The French champions are demanding over £70m (around €80m) for Ramos.
In short: unless an outrageous bid arrives, the striker is not for sale. Now it’s up to him to convince Luis Enrique he deserves a bigger role in the European champions’ attack.
