Marcus Rashford still dreams big: the Manchester United forward, currently on loan at Aston Villa, envisions himself at FC Barcelona next summer.
After a turbulent departure from Old Trafford, Rashford is regaining playing time at Villa, a club competing for a European spot and still alive in the Champions League Round of 16. However, despite an option to buy in his loan deal, Barcelona has not given up on signing him this summer, having already shown strong interest in the winter window.
Marcus is convinced that if he regains his form at Villa Park and starts scoring goals, Barcelona will reignite their interest, especially since a transfer fee has already been set, reports The Sun.
Rashford, Neymar, or Isak?
While Rashford is a target, Barcelona has other options. Neymar is pushing for a return, and the club’s top priority remains Alexander Isak, the Newcastle striker excelling in the Premier League this season. The Catalan club will likely have to choose between Rashford and Isak when the time comes.
