Despite weeks of speculation, Roma sporting director Frederic Massara shut the door himself: “There are no conditions to move forward in this deal — especially since Sancho doesn’t have the motivation to join Roma.”
Ouch. Roma wanted the Chelsea man (41 games, 5 goals last season) to add flair to their attack. Instead, the deal collapses, leaving José Mourinho’s side scrambling for alternatives with just days left before the transfer window slams shut.
