A shock decision at Tottenham Hotspur: Igor Tudor has already stepped down from his role as head coach, just six weeks after taking charge, following a mutual agreement with the London club.
Only six short weeks and then gone. Tudor was brought in to rescue Spurs, but the mission has failed. Tottenham officially confirmed the surprising departure in a statement, announcing the immediate end of their collaboration with the Croatian coach.
A brief and turbulent spell at Spurs
The Croatian tactician therefore led the team for only a very limited period. At the same time, his assistants Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci, respectively goalkeeping coach and fitness coach, have also left their positions.
Tottenham expressed gratitude for Tudor and his staff, praising their “hard work” during their short tenure. The club also sent a message of support to their now former coach, who has recently been affected by a personal bereavement.
The Spurs added that an announcement regarding the future head coach will be made soon, opening a new phase of uncertainty surrounding their sporting project.
