Currently playing for Granada in Spain’s second division, Luca Zidane (26) has spent his entire career in Spain, with stints at Real Madrid, Santander, Rayo Vallecano, and Eibar. However, the goalkeeper is now considering a switch to Ligue 1.
“I’ve had opportunities in France before, but only as a backup (Montpellier and Lens). Now, at 26, I’m at a key moment in my career. With nearly 150 games in Spain’s second division and experience in La Liga, I may need to make a new choice in June. I want to settle and perform in Ligue 1,” Zidane told L’Équipe.
Although he has been immersed in Spanish football, Zidane does not rule out a move to his home country, signaling potential interest for Ligue 1 clubs in search of an experienced goalkeeper.
