Out of contract this June, Jonathan David is heating up the transfer market. The 25-year-old Canadian striker, who’s netted 16 goals in Ligue 1 this season, will leave Lille on a free, attracting major interest across Europe.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have made the first serious move, submitting a contract offer considered “very attractive” for the league’s 4th top scorer.
OM in the Shadows, PSG Out
While Napoli leads the charge, Olympique de Marseille are lurking. On the lookout for free agents, OM are reportedly seriously considering a move, per RMC.
Competition will be fierce: Inter Milan, Juventus, and Chelsea are all tracking the situation closely. Surprisingly, PSG have bowed out of the race.
David’s future could well be written in Serie A—unless a compelling project like OM’s tips the balance.
