After the brutal defeat in the Champions League final against PSG, Inter Milan is ready to start a new cycle — and is eyeing Marseille’s bench.
The Nerazzurri are expected to part ways with coach Simone Inzaghi in the coming days. Talks have already begun with Roberto De Zerbi and Cesc Fàbregas as potential successors.
Both managers are reportedly intrigued by the project but have set firm conditions: they want solid guarantees regarding a squad overhaul before agreeing to join. As for De Zerbi, currently at OM, his contract includes a release clause, which could ease a potential move if an agreement is reached.
PSG strikes OM twice
The managerial merry-go-round is picking up pace. And for OM, the blow is double: not only have they lost their unique status as France’s only Champions League winner, but now they may also lose their head coach — all thanks to PSG’s European triumph.
