Paris Saint-Germain’s summer overhaul continues, especially in goal. With Gianluigi Donnarumma potentially leaving the club, PSG is actively working on a deal for Lucas Chevalier, the 22-year-old Lille goalkeeper, who is being lined up as the new number one.

In parallel, Renato Marin, a young Italian shot-stopper, has joined PSG—likely to start with the reserves or train with the extended senior group.

Meanwhile, Matvey Safonov, recently signed from Russia, has already been offered to Galatasaray, especially if the Turkish side fails to land Ederson from Atalanta, according to journalist Yago Sabuncuoğlu. PSG is also considering a loan move for Arnau Tenas to ensure regular playing time elsewhere.

Mukiele Says No to Saudi Arabia and England

At 27, Nordi Mukiele is making his stance clear: he won’t leave PSG for an easy payday. Despite serious interest from England, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, the former Montpellier and RB Leipzig defender has rejected all offers, including what L’Équipe called “exotic destinations.”

Mukiele is adamant: he’s looking for a high-level sporting challenge in Europe, not just a secure contract. His refusal to accept more lucrative but less competitive options underlines his ambition to return to the European elite and prove himself again on the big stage.

Housni Rejects Ligue 2, Eyes Move Abroad

Ilyes Housni also appears set to leave PSG this summer, with just one year left on his contract. But the 20-year-old forward is being selective. After a disappointing loan spell at Le Havre (12 Ligue 1 appearances), Housni has turned down several Ligue 2 offers.

According to L’Équipe, he’s prioritizing a move abroad, with Spain as his preferred destination. Saudi Arabia also remains an option—he previously played in Qatar with Al Sadd.

Housni wants to revive his career but is determined to make the right choice, not just the quickest.

In the midst of legal uncertainty surrounding Achraf Hakimi and a broader reshaping of the squad, PSG is navigating multiple sensitive cases, especially concerning its goalkeeping hierarchy and fringe players. The club is clearly in transition—but remains determined to stay competitive.
