PSG: With Chevalier and Zabarnyi, is the transfer window already over?

The PSG hierarchy is banking on squad stability — and they’ve landed the two signings they wanted. Lucas Chevalier, brought in from Lille for €40m (excluding bonuses), has already taken part in his first training session.

Next up is Illya Zabarnyi, Luis Enrique’s long-time defensive priority, set to arrive from Bournemouth for €66m including bonuses. Both deals were handled with patience to avoid overpaying, and both players will be available for the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham on August 13.

Now, the hot file: Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Italian keeper is being pushed toward the exit, with Chevalier installed as undisputed No.1. Donnarumma’s camp still hints at a possible stay, but Paris wants a clean break. Outgoings will dominate the rest of the window, with Skriniar already sold to Fenerbahçe for €10m.

Renato Sanches, Carlos Soler (linked to Villarreal), Nordi Mukiele, Marco Asensio (Aston Villa, Fenerbahçe) and Randal Kolo Muani (Juventus) are all on the market.

Kang In Lee on the move ?

Unless there are departures, incoming business is essentially done. Campos may move for one last signing — an inverted right winger was considered earlier this summer — but the focus is on keeping the core that delivered last season’s historic campaign.

A few cases, like Kang-in Lee’s limited game time or Beraldo’s entourage exploring opportunities, will be monitored, yet the mood at Camp des Loges is calm. For now, PSG look ready to go into the new season with minimal changes — but a couple of sales could still change the script.
