Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future has taken another twist. After announcing his departure from PSG and being linked with Manchester City, the deal seemed to have cooled in recent days. But behind the scenes, things are moving fast.
Initially, the Italian goalkeeper’s agent denied any agreement and stressed that City still preferred to keep Ederson. However, in Turkey, several media outlets now claim Galatasaray has stepped up to sign the Brazilian, offering him a three-year deal and a €10m transfer fee. This move could open the door for Donnarumma’s arrival at the Etihad.
Turkey paves the way for Donnarumma to City
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Euro 2021 champion already has a salary agreement with Manchester City worth €12m per year. The sticking point: PSG are demanding €50m, while City hope to close the deal for €30m.
Between negotiations over Ederson, PSG’s firm stance, and City’s determination, the Donnarumma saga is far from over. But the Italian seems closer than ever to a Premier League move.
