Excluded and pushed towards the exit, Gianluigi Donnarumma is leaving PSG amid high tensions. His agent, Enzo Raiola, accuses the club of breaking a near-final agreement and showing a lack of respect, claiming the goalkeeper had accepted less favorable terms to stay before the club suddenly changed its stance.
Raiola says the reversal came just after PSG confirmed nothing would change before the Club World Cup. He denounces a “brutal and disrespectful” decision and is now considering legal options with his lawyers.
Bitter End
The club, however, tells a different story. According to Le Parisien, Donnarumma turned down an offer that would have kept him among the highest-paid goalkeepers in the world, asking for more. Luis Enrique reportedly responded: “Alright, let’s move on.”
PSG insists they acted with a clear conscience despite the emotional nature of the case, accusing Donnarumma’s camp of sharing only part of the story. This chapter between Paris and the Italian goalkeeper ends in bitterness.
