Even hurt, Neymar continues to carry Santos on his back. Despite a left-knee injury, the Brazilian star delivered a decisive performance in the crucial 3–0 win over Sport Recife on Friday night, helping the club climb out of the relegation zone — at least temporarily.

Neymar, Santos’ saviour :  Criticised since his return to Brazil, the 33-year-old answered in the best possible way. One goal — a clean right-footed finish — and one assist from a corner. Neymar reminded everyone that even at half-strength, he remains a game-changer.

The ultimate goal: keep Santos in the top flight

With two matches left in the Brasileirão, Santos is still fighting for survival. Neymar has already promised he will be there for the final two decisive games — against Juventude and Cruzeiro.

“Santos must stay in the first division,” he insisted, determined to save the club at all costs.

The fans believe it. Neymar believes it. And his flashes of brilliance — even on one leg — may just be enough to complete the miracle.
