Barça are preparing a quiet move behind Jules Koundé and are targeting a clear profile: a player capable of delivering without making waves. According to Sky Sport Germany, Julian Ryerson is high on the blaugrana shortlist. At 28, the Norwegian checks all the boxes sought by the sporting department.
Barcelona target a discreet and versatile full-back
An irregular starter at Borussia Dortmund, Ryerson is not considered a key figure at BVB despite being under contract until 2028. This situation opens the door to a departure, especially as the player would be open to a new challenge.
Another major asset is his versatility. Able to play on both the right and the left, Ryerson would offer a genuine backup solution for Xavi (or his successor) in a squad already under pressure.
