The future of Eddy Doué at Paris Saint-Germain now seems sealed. According to information from L’Équipe, the young Franco-Ivorian midfielder born in 2005 is expected to leave the Parisian club in the coming days, during this winter transfer window.
While his cousin Désiré Doué is gradually establishing himself in the professional squad, Eddy is no longer part of PSG’s plans. With his contract ending in six months, the player is not expected to be retained, and a departure is now favored by all parties.
A Transfer to Avoid Losing Him for Free
A Portuguese club, Estrela Amadora, as well as a French team, are already in discussions to try to recruit him. For their part, the Parisian leaders are open to a transfer to avoid seeing the player leave for free at the end of the season.
PSG would thus be willing to let him leave this winter in exchange for a percentage of any future sale. This solution would allow the club to secure a minimum return while giving Eddy Doué the opportunity to relaunch his career elsewhere.
