Erling Haaland strolling through the French capital during the European break… what if this visit was far from innocent? Already qualified for the Champions League round of 16, Manchester City granted a few days off to their squad. The Norwegian striker took the opportunity to show up in Paris, posting a mysterious “thank you Paris” on his social media.

Haaland in Paris… simple getaway or subtle charm offensive? The forward publicly thanked the city for his stay. But that’s not all. According to TEAMtalk, Paris Saint-Germain are closely monitoring the prolific goal scorer’s situation.

Despite this XXL commitment, Europe’s heavyweights remain on standby. FC Barcelona and Real Madrid reportedly believe certain clauses could eventually open the door to a move to Spain, a league that appeals to the striker. Paris, for their part, refuse to stay on the sidelines.

Officially, this situation is said to be unrelated to Ousmane Dembélé’s recent issues, after being reprimanded by Luis Enrique and substituted earlier than expected against Monaco. Behind the scenes, however, intermediaries are already exploring several Premier League options for the French winger. PSG are preparing for every scenario… including the most spectacular one: an earthquake named Haaland.
