Adrien Rabiot (30 years old, 23 matches and 4 goals in all competitions this season) still carries one regret from his time at Olympique de Marseille. In an interview with Undici magazine, the French international spoke about his ambition to leave a lasting mark on every club he plays for.
Rabiot admits that the regret from his spell at OM may never fade. The midfielder believes he successfully achieved this goal during his time at Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. However, his adventure in Marseille leaves him with a sense of unfinished business, mainly because his stay with the club was too short.
A Too-Short Spell in Marseille
“I want to write my name into the history of every team I’ve played for: I did it at PSG and at Juventus, but unfortunately I couldn’t do it at Marseille because I only stayed there for one year,” admitted the player, who is now at AC Milan.
Now focused on the future, Rabiot has a clear objective: to make history with Milan… before chasing the biggest goal of his career, winning the World Cup.
