Removed from the presidency of Olympique de Marseille following the appointment of Alban Juster as head of the executive board, Pablo Longoria has not remained without a role for long. The former Marseille executive has already joined a new structure linked to sports governance.
He did not stay inactive for long after leaving OM: Pablo Longoria has already bounced back. The Spaniard has joined the board of directors of the Center for Sports Business Tegernsee (CSBT), a recently created organization aimed at reflecting on the evolution of governance and economic models in European sport.
A New Role in European Sports Governance
This structure, co-founded in particular by Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, brings together several influential figures from the sports world. Pablo Longoria will notably work alongside Francesco Calvo, the current president of commercial operations at Aston Villa.
It marks a new step for the former OM president, who remains active in football’s decision-making circles despite his recent departure from the Marseille club.
