A deeply emotional moment unfolded Tuesday evening at Rams Park. Before the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 between Galatasaray and Liverpool (1–0), Turkish supporters paid a heartfelt tribute to their striker Victor Osimhen.
Victor Osimhen has clearly been embraced by Galatasaray, and the fans showed it in spectacular fashion. Supporters in Istanbul unveiled a tifo dedicated to the Nigerian international, honoring the memory of his mother, who passed away when he was just six years old. The banner carried a touching message: “We are a family, and family is everything.”
An Emotional Tribute from the Fans
Moved by the gesture, Osimhen could not hold back his emotions. The 27-year-old striker appeared with tears in his eyes and took a moment to thank the supporters before the kickoff.


It was a powerful moment for the Nigerian forward, who has enjoyed an outstanding European campaign this season, scoring seven goals in eight Champions League matches.
