The wait is over: FIFA has officially unveiled the official anthem for the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. To mark the occasion, football’s governing body has chosen a blockbuster collaboration featuring Shakira and Burna Boy.
FIFA has revealed the 2026 World Cup anthem! The track, titled “Dai Dai,” will accompany the entire tournament and is already expected to become one of the biggest songs of the summer of 2026. Blending Afro rhythms, Latin influences, and a festive atmosphere, the song aims to reflect the energy and diversity of the first-ever 48-team World Cup.
Shakira and Burna Boy Lead FIFA’s New Global Anthem
Shakira is returning to familiar territory after the massive worldwide success of “Waka Waka” in 2010 and “La La La” in 2014. Meanwhile, Burna Boy adds his signature afrobeat style, giving the track an even more international flavor.
With this explosive collaboration, FIFA hopes to deliver another global anthem capable of electrifying stadiums and dominating social media. For now, however, excitement around the World Cup has not fully taken off. Hotels are reportedly worried about low booking numbers just weeks before the competition, while expensive ticket prices are discouraging many supporters from attending.
