Despite several questions surrounding his future, Corentin Tolisso has confirmed that he will still wear the OL shirt next season. The Lyon captain ended all speculation after the final Ligue 1 matchday.
After a strong campaign with 11 league goals, Corentin Tolisso wanted to make his future at Olympique Lyonnais crystal clear. Under contract until June 2027, the 31-year-old midfielder has no intention of leaving his boyhood club this summer.
Tolisso Sends Strong Message to Lyon Fans
Speaking in the mixed zone, the OL captain jokingly responded to questions about a possible departure. His comments should reassure Lyon supporters ahead of the summer transfer window.
“No, not at all. The new away kit is far too beautiful for me not to wear it again next season,” Corentin Tolisso told reporters after the match.
The French international could now return to the Champions League with OL next season, provided Lyon successfully get through the qualifying rounds this summer.
