Endrick’s spell at Olympique Lyonnais is already over. After an encouraging second half of the season in Lyon colors, the young Brazilian wonderkid returned to Madrid immediately after the heavy 4-0 defeat against Lens.
Endrick is already back at Real Madrid, and Lyon can forget about keeping him longer. The Brazilian waited only a few hours before leaving France, flying back to Madrid early Sunday morning at around 4 a.m. According to El Chiringuito, the Real Madrid striker will resume training at Valdebebas later this week.
Real Madrid Ready To Bring Endrick Back
Loaned out by the Spanish giants, Endrick made a strong impression in Lyon with 8 goals in all competitions across just 21 matches. His rapid progress did not go unnoticed in either Spain or Brazil.
The Brazilian is now waiting for huge news: a possible call-up to the Seleção squad for the 2026 World Cup. Carlo Ancelotti is expected to announce his list on Monday evening, and Endrick is naturally hoping to be included after his convincing performances in Ligue 1.
Meanwhile, the Palmeiras academy product has already returned to the Spanish capital. Footage shared by El Chiringuito showed Endrick back in Madrid ahead of his return to training with Real Madrid — a very clear signal regarding his immediate future. On Lyon’s side, hopes of extending the adventure now appear almost impossible, with Real Madrid determined to bring back their Brazilian gem this summer and potentially give him a major role in the rotation next season.
