Arsenal’s title celebrations produced a scene that was as unexpected as it was hilarious on Sunday in the streets of London, as Martin Odegaard accidentally sent a ball straight at a police officer’s head.
In front of nearly 750,000 supporters who had gathered to celebrate the new English champions, Odegaard tried to join in the festivities by heading a ball toward the crowd from the Gunners’ open-top bus.

The problem was that his aim was clearly off target. Instead of reaching the fans, the ball ended up landing directly on the head of a police officer responsible for securing the event. The clip quickly went viral across social media.
Realizing his mistake, Arsenal’s captain immediately crouched behind his teammates in an attempt to avoid being noticed, looking very much like a child caught red-handed.

After having very few touches of the ball against PSG the day before, the Norwegian midfielder may simply have been eager to get back into action and rediscover his touch.
