Kylian Mbappé does not stand out solely because of his performances on the pitch. Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Aurélien Tchouaméni highlighted the importance of the France captain within the squad.
Many things are said about Kylian Mbappé, but few know him better than his Real Madrid teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni. The midfielder described a leader capable of influencing his teammates both during matches and behind the scenes. According to him, Mbappé regularly speaks before games, at halftime, and after matches to guide the team.
Mbappé’s Leadership Beyond the Pitch
“He is a technical leader, but also a leader off the field,” explained Tchouaméni, who particularly appreciates his teammate’s ability to inspire and motivate the entire group.
The Real Madrid midfielder also emphasized the human side of the French captain, noting that he knows how to keep the atmosphere relaxed on a daily basis. It is a role Mbappé reportedly fulfills perfectly, both with the national team and at club level.
“He has the ability to lift everyone around him. We know he is our captain, he sets the example for us. He also jokes around a lot, both at club level and with the national team, and he performs his role extremely well,” Tchouaméni said.
