The 1998 World Cup winner also sent a supportive message to the France captain, saying: “I wish you all the best, Kylian, and go Les Bleus.”
The fake statement claimed that Henry had criticized Mbappé after footage allegedly showed the French forward ignoring N’Golo Kanté by not shaking his hand. The fabricated quote suggested that Mbappé’s reputation was suffering and warned that disrespecting a player as respected as Kanté could raise serious questions about his character. Henry has now made it clear that those comments were entirely false and condemned the growing spread of fake quotations online.
