As the 2026 World Cup approaches, Ousmane Dembélé is not afraid to make his voice heard within the France squad. According to L’Équipe, one of his recent messages was aimed directly at Kylian Mbappé.

Dembélé wants everyone to lead by example, including Mbappé. Even his close friend. The French forward believes the national team captain must contribute more defensively if France hopes to win another World Cup title.
