The future of PSG’s stadium could be heading for another major twist. While the club has spent several months studying options in Poissy and Massy for the construction of a new venue, the costs associated with access infrastructure are now emerging as a significant obstacle.

PSG appears to be moving closer to remaining at the Parc des Princes. According to several sources cited by L’Équipe, the investments required to improve roads, public transportation links, and parking capacity around the alternative sites would be particularly substantial. This finding could reshape the club’s long-term stadium strategy.

The political landscape has also changed. Recently elected as Mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Grégoire has expressed support for a potential sale of the Parc des Princes, opening the door to renewed negotiations between the city and PSG. However, an agreement on the price and approval from the Paris City Council would still be required.

With the logistical challenges surrounding Poissy and Massy becoming increasingly apparent, the possibility of purchasing the Parc des Princes is gaining traction once again. This option has always been favored by PSG’s leadership, who are keen to maintain a strong presence in the French capital.
