Kylian Mbappé took on a completely unexpected challenge ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Invited by British TV host James Corden, the France captain agreed to a hilarious and surprising makeover session.
Mbappé completely let loose as James Corden transformed his look. It all started when the presenter teased the Real Madrid star for his usually understated fashion sense on FOX Sports’ YouTube show, especially compared to some of his France teammates such as Jules Koundé, who has become a fashion icon within the national team.

“You’re much more reserved,” Corden joked. “You’re the captain of the team, you can’t let these guys outshine you when it comes to fashion.” After a few laughs, the former PSG forward agreed to play along and embrace the challenge.

A giant hat, a bright pink jacket, a white wig and several outrageous outfits followed, all while Corden burst into laughter. The unusual sequence revealed a lighter and more playful side of Mbappé, who is generally known for keeping a low profile when it comes to extravagant appearances.
The entertaining fashion show quickly caught the attention of supporters just days before France’s opening World Cup match against Senegal. If nothing else, Mbappé has already managed to get people talking before the tournament has even begun.
