The French national team is leaving nothing to chance for the 2026 World Cup. According to reports from L’Équipe, the French staff shipped no fewer than six tons of equipment to Boston before Didier Deschamps’ players had even arrived.
Les Bleus have planned everything down to the smallest detail. The logistics operation is impressive, with more than 1,000 jerseys sent to the United States, along with hundreds of pairs of shorts, socks, and a wide range of equipment to cover all of the squad’s needs throughout the tournament.
France Already Preparing for the Final
The large quantity of equipment was not chosen by accident. The French Football Federation has prepared enough gear for the team to play up to eight matches, which would represent a complete run to the World Cup final — or even the third-place playoff.
It is a clear sign of the ambition within the French camp. After reaching the final in 2022, Didier Deschamps’ men are dreaming of going one step further this time and lifting the trophy on American soil.
Between player equipment, training sessions, post-match jersey exchanges, and the needs of the coaching and support staff, the French delegation preferred to prepare for every scenario. It is a massive logistical effort for a competition in which France is considered one of the leading contenders for the world title.
