Barça are already preparing for life after Robert Lewandowski. According to Mail Sport, the Catalan club are interested in Harry Kane as a potential successor to the Polish striker at the heart of their attack.
With Robert Lewandowski now announced as heading to Chicago Fire, Barça no longer have a true centre-forward and are looking everywhere for a replacement. The Julian Alvarez option is threatened by PSG, forcing FC Barcelona to explore other big-name targets.
Barcelona Dream of Harry Kane
Barcelona officials have reportedly made contact with the representatives of English striker Harry Kane to ask about his situation. It is a huge potential move, but one that looks far from simple.
For now, Harry Kane is said to favour extending his stay with Bayern Munich. The England international is happy in Germany and does not appear to be in a hurry to leave.
Barça are still keeping a close eye on the situation. If things were to change, the Catalan club could make their move. After Lewandowski, Barcelona are now dreaming of another world-class number 9. The transfer window is still far from over.
