The link is somewhat surprising, as Ilan Meslier is coming off a season without playing at Leeds. Completely pushed down the pecking order at his club, the former great hope of French football has lost time, rhythm and visibility in recent months.

For Ilan Meslier, this file could in any case offer an unexpected exit route and a spectacular rebound after a very difficult period.
