Paris Saint-Germain are moving forward in the striker market. After Gonçalo Ramos’ departure to AC Milan, the capital club must find a new number 9 capable of bringing competition and depth to Luis Enrique’s squad.
Among the profiles being studied, Eli Junior Kroupi’s name is coming up insistently. According to TEAMtalk, the former Lorient player, now at Bournemouth, is highly appreciated by Paris decision-makers. At just 20 years old, the French striker has just enjoyed an impressive season in the Premier League and is already attracting major clubs.
Kroupi Interests PSG, but Bournemouth Stand Firm
His profile fits what Paris are looking for: a mobile, quick and technical player, capable of attacking spaces and fitting into a fluid attacking system. PSG see him as a high-potential talent with significant room for improvement.
The player, for his part, would not be against the idea of returning to France, especially to a club of PSG’s stature. But the deal looks very complicated. Bournemouth have no desire to lose their striker after just one successful season in England.
The Cherries are reportedly demanding around €100 million to consider a departure. That is a very high fee and inevitably slows down discussions. Paris like Kroupi, and Kroupi could be tempted by the Paris project, but the asking price makes the operation difficult at this stage. PSG are therefore continuing to explore the market to replace Gonçalo Ramos, with Eli Junior Kroupi among the tracked options.
