Even Lionel Messi has to go through security. When the Argentina squad arrived in Miami, the Albiceleste star was checked with a metal detector, just like any other player at the World Cup.

It was a pretty rare scene, of course, considering it involved one of the greatest players in history. But Messi took it with a smile. Clearly amused, the Argentine laughed during the check and showed no sign of annoyance.

The clip quickly amused fans, especially because of Messi’s laughing reaction. A light-hearted but symbolic image: at this World Cup, nobody gets a free pass. Not even Lionel Messi.
