France impressed against Sweden, and Christophe Dugarry does not see Les Bleus slowing down. After Didier Deschamps’ men secured a convincing 3-0 win on Tuesday at the World Cup, the RMC pundit expects another demonstration on Saturday against Paraguay.
Christophe Dugarry being full of praise for Deschamps’ France is rare. But for the former OM striker, this French team now looks almost unplayable. With attacking power, collective control and defensive solidity, Les Bleus seem to be gaining momentum at the perfect moment in the competition.
Dugarry Believes France Are Too Strong
“Who today is capable of offering something to stop us? Which team can stop this attacking trio, or even this attacking quartet? Which team can cause us problems?” Christophe Dugarry asked, clearly impressed by the level shown by the French side.
The 1998 world champion also pointed out that Sweden still had major players, such as Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak. But despite that attacking potential, the Swedes were barely able to trouble France.
Dugarry has therefore dismissed the idea of a potential trap game ahead of the clash with Paraguay. According to him, Les Bleus are crushing their opponents one after another, and the next match could be over very quickly. “Paraguay are going to take a thrashing!” he declared.
