Olympique de Marseille are back in the race for Sacha Boey. The Bayern Munich right-back, who was already on OM’s radar last winter, is once again attracting strong interest from the French club.
According to Foot Mercato, Marseille appreciate Boey’s versatility—able to defend, push forward, and even cover centrally when needed.
Mixed Signals in Munich
At Bayern, Boey (24) hasn’t secured a regular starting spot. Despite 18 appearances this season, only 8 were starts. A knee injury followed by ankle issues slowed his momentum, though he still managed 1 goal and 4 assists.
Loan Offer on the Table
Marseille have reportedly submitted a loan offer with an option to buy. However, Bayern would prefer a permanent transfer, and English clubs are also circling. Boey, under contract until 2028, hasn’t ruled out staying in Germany either.
The race is on, and Marseille are clearly stepping up their pursuit.
