Rolland Courbis has passed away: former coach of OM, he died at the age of 72.

French football mourns the loss of Rolland Courbis. RMC announced on Monday the death of the former player and coach at the age of 72. A key figure at the radio station for over two decades, the Marseillais also distinguished himself with a rich and notable career on the pitch and then on the sidelines.

Coach at OM but not only

A former central defender trained at OM, he played for clubs including Ajaccio, Olympiakos, Sochaux, Monaco, and Toulon, and was crowned champion of France three times in 1972, 1978, and 1982. He then transitioned to coaching for 35 years.
