PSG ultras wanted to make their mark on Saturday evening near the Trocadéro, but the celebration quickly came to an end. Having gathered to celebrate the club’s historic season, crowned by six trophies in 2025, dozens of supporters lit flares and fireworks facing the Eiffel Tower.
The spectacular scenes quickly spread across social media. However, the festive atmosphere did not last long, as police forces intervened to disperse the gathering. Contacted by BFMTV, the Paris police prefecture praised “the responsiveness and professionalism of the officers who put an end to the disturbance.”
Police Intervention and Aftermath
The outcome: forty people were arrested around 8:50 p.m., with no injuries reported. An investigation has nonetheless been opened to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The episode echoes other recent demonstrations in the capital, such as the Wydad Casablanca ultras’ 20th anniversary display or the spectacular fireworks organized by videographer Loris Giuliano to promote his documentary on Napoli.
A post circulating online also showed the Collectif Ultras Paris celebrating PSG’s six trophies this year, further amplifying the visibility of the gathering.
