Is PSG really ready to go all in on Cole Palmer? A wild rumour has emerged suggesting just that – but it might be a bit too crazy to be true.
After being humiliated by Chelsea in the Club World Cup final (3-0), PSG reportedly has its sights set on the man who did the most damage: Cole Palmer. The 22-year-old Englishman was unstoppable, scoring twice and providing an assist. According to Fichajes, Paris would be willing to offer a staggering €250 million to lure him away from Stamford Bridge.
But PSG isn’t that club anymore
Palmer is under contract until 2033 with no release clause, and Chelsea already turned down a €120 million bid from Manchester City last winter. Add to that PSG’s new transfer policy under Luis Enrique — focused on young, emerging talent for “reasonable” fees — and the move seems highly unlikely.
A record-breaking transfer? Almost impossible. A juicy rumour to rattle Chelsea? Much more likely.
